Well the idea of Chicks first started floating around in 2009, but in early 2010 is when Chicks Clothing really officially began. Chicks, the name of the brand, is pretty dang simple, it’s the first letter of my first name “C” and my last name “Hicks” put together. I guess I’m pretty lucky to have the name Cody Hicks ha. The name for the brand first came to me when I found my P.E. t-shirt laying on the floor of my room, and on the front of the shirt it had written in sharpie, C.HICKS. I knew right then and there that had to be the brand name. If you’re sitting there thinking to yourself “Well if the name of the brand is Chicks Clothing… does that mean…” Nope, Chicks Clothing is not only a brand for Chicks!

After that I started getting the word out about Chicks Clothing to really anyone that wanted to listen. I started selling shirts that said “I ♥ Chicks” to everyone in my school and around town, but of course to everyone that Hearts Chicks also! Since then Chicks Clothing has been getting more and more support everyday!

What’s next for Chicks??? You’re just going to have to wait and see! You can expect some pretty AWESOME things to be going on with Chicks Clothing in 2011, so if I where you, I wouldn’t want to miss it!
